Ar brynhawn Mawrth poeth aeth plant y Dosbarth Derbyn a Meithrin ar y bws ar eu taith addysgol i Ddyffryn Maesglas. Bu i Swyddog o’r ganolfan ein tywys am dro drwy’r goedwig gan ein annog i ddefnyddio 4 allan o’r 5 synnwyr! Doeddem ddim yn blasu dim y tro yma! Roeddem yn stopio yma ac acw ac yn gwrando ar y synnau o’n cwmpas – y dail yn sisial, yr adar yn canu! Cafodd y plant gwpan yr un i gasglu gwahanol bethau o’u cwmpas a darn o bren bach i wasgu’r cyfan er mwyn rhyddhau’r arogl – roedd gan pob cwpan arogl unigryw. Tasg nesaf oedd i grwpiau o blant gasglu pethau oedd yn cydfynd gyda’r gair oedd o dan eu dysgl – e.e sych a gwlyb, caled a meddal, llyfn a pigog. Cawsom brynhawn hyfryd – pawb wedi mwynhau yn fawr!
On a hot Tuesday afternoon, the children of the Dosbarth Derbyn and Meithrin went on their educational trip to the Greenfield Valley. A Ranger from the centre guided us around through the woods and encouraged us all to use 4 out of our 5 senses! We didn’t get to taste anything this time! As we walked we stopped to listen to the sounds around us – the leaves rustling, the birds singing. The children were all given a cup each to collect different items and a small piece of wood to squash them all to release the juices – each cup had a unique smell! The next task was to collect items to match the words on the bottom of their container e.g. wet and dry, hard and soft, smooth and prickly! An enjoyable afternoon – everyone enjoyed!
