Ar ôl cyfnod clo anodd ac anarferol rydym ni wrth ein bodd bod pawb yn ol yn yr ysgol ac yn arfer efo’r normal newydd. Mae pawb yn cytuno ei fod yn llawer haws gweithio yn yr ysgol nag adref gan ein bod yn gallu gofyn am help a llai o bethau yn tynnu ein sylw! Mae’n braf iawn cael gweld ein gilydd wyneb yn wyneb yn lle dros y sgrin!
Ein thema newydd y tymor yma yw ‘Coedwigoedd Law’ ac rydym yn edrych ymlaen at gael gwneud bob math o bethau diddorol e.e sgetsio neu gwneud model o’r goedwig law a chael gweithdy ar yr heriau sydd yn gwynebu’r goedwig law/ ein rôl ni yn gofalu amdano. Rydym hefyd eisiau gwybod sut mae planhigion ac anifeiliaid gwahanol wedi addasu I'w cynefin. Mae gennym ni lawer i'w ddysgu! Byddai’r gwaith yma yn cyd fynd a’n nofel dosbarth ‘A Journey to the River Sea’ am ferch sydd yn gadael ei chartref yn Lloegr i fynd I fyw yn yr Amazon efo’i hewythr, modryb a’i chyfnitherod. Mi fydd yn daith bythgofiadwy. Tybed a fydd bywyd mor wyllt ac anturus ag y mae hi’n ei ddisgwyl?
Pan ddaw y Cyfnod Clo i ben, tu hwnt i’r ysgol edrychwn ymlaen at gael mynd i dai ein ffrindiau a teithio ymhellach, mynd i ddringo mynyddoedd a mynd i'r parc sglefrio. Edrychwn ymlaen at dymor prysur a chyffrous!
After a challenging and unusual lock down we are so glad to be back in school and getting used to our ‘new normal.’ Everyone agrees that it’s much easier working in school as we can ask for help and there are far fewer distractions! It's wonderful to see each other face to face rather than over a screen!
Our new topic this term is the ‘Rainforest’ and we look forward to all sorts of fascinating activities such as painting/making a model of the rain forest and taking part in a workshop where we will learn all about the challenges that face the rain forest and our role in protecting it. We also want to know how plants and animals have adapted to their environment. We have so much to learn! This work goes hand in hand with our new class novel ‘A Journey to the River Sea’ about a girl who leaves her home in England to go and live with her Aunt, Uncle and cousins in the Amazon. It’ll be an unforgettable journey but will life there be as wild and exciting and she expects?
When the lock down period comes to an end, outside school, we look forward to being able to go to friends’ houses, travelling further to go climbing mountains and go to the skating park! We look forward to a busy and exciting term ahead!
